90 Ball Bingo, What is it? How to play?

What is 90 Ball Bingo?

90-Ball Bingo is more often played throughout the United Kingdom and Australia.  This bingo game is a close relative to 75-Bingo. The object is to be the first player to correctly claim the winning bingo pattern. Naturally many of the basic bingo rules apply, however there are differences between them. In the 90-Ball Bingo cards have three rows and nine columns. Five squares in each row contain numbers ranging from 1 to 90 and the rest are blank.  Most of the time there are three patterns in each game, while the winning patterns are always the same. Each 90 ball bingo game has three patterns and every one of the three patterns has a specific prize associated with that 90 ball pattern.  The 90 ball patterns are known as; Single Line Across (Line), Two Lines Across (Two Lines), and Full House.  The first bingo player to correctly cross off a horizontal a Line; then Two Lines and then cross off all the numbers on a Ticket making the (Full House), would win that pattern and earn a prize.

Ticket

In 90-Ball Bingo, each individual face (grid of numbers) is referred to as a Ticket, which is synonymous with cards in 75-Ball Bingo. 90-Ball Bingo Tickets are 3 rows by 9 columns. Each row contains 5 numbers and 4 blank spaces.

Strip

90-Ball Bingo is almost always played with Strips of six Tickets. Each 90 Ball Strip contains all 90 numbers distributed throughout the 6 Tickets in a Daub-All format.  If a Strip (6 Tickets) is played in one bingo game, then every possible number from 1 -90 is covered and therefore, a number is crossed off at each bingo call.

Auto Daub

Auto Daub is available on nearly on every bingo site. It is useful for people who don't want to manually daub each ticket like they have to at a traditional bingo hall. This option gives players the ability to turn off the Auto Daub feature and Manually Daub the Tickets themselves.  Players can toggle ON or OFF the Auto Daub feature.  The game default is ON.

Even if you miss a called number while manually daubing, it will not affect the outcome of the game if your Ticket is the winner!  A check mark will appear beside the Auto-Daub when this feature is on. All called numbers will be highlighted in colored squares on all game cards that you have purchased.
